POLYON TO BUILDING - GENERATIVE
A few people have asked about this definition, so I’m making it available here.
This script is very much a work in progress—it’s not a polished or finalized tool, but more of an experiment showing one way you could go from a simple polygon outline to a generated building form.
I’m sharing it in an open way, so you can look into the mechanics, tweak it, or use it as a starting point for your own ideas. Think of it as a learning resource or a sandbox, not a finished product.
Some of the parameters you can play with include: number of floors / height between slabs / slab thickness / wall thickness / balcony width, overhang, and railing thickness / window width and height / frame thickness (inner & outer) / window thickness / number of windows (rows & columns) / starting height of windows.
Hopefully it’s useful as a reference or jumping-off point!
